Description

rejoining cause I miss drawing wolves ugh

Name: Gabriel
Age: Adult
Gender: Male
Coat Color: Dark brown/black-ish with a slight hint of 'purple' but on the darker side so he's not actually purple, with a grey-ish neck area
Eyers color: Golden/Yellow
Height: 36"
Weight: 115 lbs
Personality: Gabriel is a very misunderstood guy. While his appearence and typical attitude dictates, or at least points towards, him being a bad guy, he actually isn't. He is usually very down to earth, and seems to have a good grasp of reality and moral standards. Of course he does seem to have double standards at some points, specially regarding some things, and in those cases, he just can't help himself. He is very good at keeping himself calm and collected, and only ever rarely loses his temper.

Given that he doesn't have a pack, and has never really had any wishes on being in a pack, then he is super bad at showing respect to packs and packwolves. He fails to respect territory markers and fails to respect the residents within each territory, and when faced with a higher ranking pack wolf, he will most likely be putting up a display of dominance and confidence, arguing that he has just as much right to be around, specially as long as he's not attacking anyone.

Despite looking like it, Gabriel is not the type to abruptly and unprovoked attack others. He will wait and see how things goes, and if they manage to push his buttons just right, he will attack them. He has got a lot of strength after all, and is a large guy, and is well experienced in the art of fighting, though the lack of scars dictates that he either always wins by instantly killing his opponents, is good at avoiding attacks or simply avoids fight. Perhaps he's just about intimidating enough for others to not want to attack him.

When faced with a group that decides to take him out, he is likely to try and predict the outcome, and play and act after what would help him, in succeeding. He furthermore has no qualms with killing, specially not if killing others, means that he survives. While he won't kill weak friends or weak individuals of other packs or groups of renegades, he will leave them for dead if he is certain that they can't make it on his own. It takes a lot for a pup to be concidered worthy of his protection if that's the case.

While Gabriel dislikes being called bad, and called out on it, he has in a way adapted to the nature of someone or something that indeed would be concidered bad. He is good at manipulating others, luring them into a false sense of security and offering them a false friendship, when in truth, he only does so to achieve what he wants, or get what he needs. Of course there are certain individuals that are special to him, and which he truly cares about and likely would protect or maybe even sacrifice himself for, though those are rare, if not non-existant.

Thanks to his size and strength, he's got both advantages and disadvantages when it comes to hunting. While his stamina is very high, his speed average, if not a tish below, thanks to size and weight, meaning that he'll often have to sneak around when hunting, whether it is large or small game. This however, also means that he is likely to steal kills from other renegades, or even packs. However, in the end, no matter what the situation is, he is likely to do the right thing, in some hopes that he may be able to redeem himself that way, and have others stop seeing him as an enemy or threat.

Pack: Renegades
Rank: N/A
Family: Deimos (Half Brother) (Feel free to make brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews/nieces, etc for him if you want. He'd probably have a few. - Oops he could have half brothers/sisters too)

History: He was born to a loner female, about average height and with darkbrown fur, and no markings, with striking yellow eyes. Gabriel was the largest of the pups in the litter and quickly got to the realization that he could boss and push his siblings around, because they were either too frail or too weak to do anything about him. Leaving him with somewhat of a dominant attitude already from the start, showing clear signs that maybe some day, the dark pup could become quite the talented alpha, if he managed to find a pack to take over or find followers of his own that would succumb to his bullying. Gabriel and all of his littermates however, always seemed 'happy' and energic, like they always had something fun to do.

Their mother would leave them alone at the, very well hidden, den, while going out to hunt for herself and her young. Having every bit of confidence and trust resting on the stronger pups of the litter. Trusting them to look after the runts of the litter. While mom was out and away, Gabriel and his 'twin', the only other pup of the litter that looked just a bit like him, would be lying in the middle of the entrance, debating whether or not to go on adventures on their own. However, they always seemed to end up debating for too long, so they never got around to leave, or give any hints/signs of the idea of leaving, before the mother would return and immediately cancel whatever plans the brothers made with each other.

This went on for as long as the pups were still too young to leave the den on their own, though as soon as they were old enough to leave the den, their mother would bring the whole litter with her, moving them to a new and bigger den, in a more secure area, where there'd be less threats and dangers that could harm or kill the pups. Of course all of this were overly exciting to the pups, specially the more brave of the pups. Gabriel and his twin would often test the patience of their mother, and try to push her boundaries, by walking farther and farther away from the den, whenever they had the chance, constantly giving their mother a hard time.

By the time that all the pups reached young adulthood, they left, seperating and going on their own, seperate adventures. Seemingly not caring about each other, or where the others went. At this point, it was their own decisions that mattered, and if someone didn't agree to it, or have the same idea, they were just not good enough and definitely not worth the time or trouble. Gabriel roamed around on his own, until he stumbled upon a small pack, seemingly without any sort of structure, that seemed like such an ideal fit, and such an easy thing to take over. Afterall, the young wolf knew that his mother had always thought of him, as someone with the potential to become a true alpha. It didn't take him long to become part of the pack, and he would start out, calmy following the current rules, and holding himself back, until he'd get the previous alpha into a more isolated area of the territory, claiming to have something important to tell him or discuss with him.

The alpha, quite naive as he was, believed what the darker wolf was saying, and without any doubts followed him, after making sure the rest of the pack would not be alarmed. Since it was just presented as being a normal, though important, talk between an alpha and his packmember. However, that indeed wasn't Gabriel's intentions. Immediately as the two of them were alone, and far away enough for the rest of the pack to be unable to hear them talk, or fight if that was what was gonna happen, Gabriel immediately expressed a dominant attitude, immediately and abruptly claiming that the old alpha had no idea what he was doing and that he was pushing the pack down, holding it back, from being able to show it's full potential.

Of course the old alpha disagreed, and the two wolves would stare down each other, both with their tails raised in the air. Gabriel with his ears confidently perked, and the alpha with his ears turned a bit to the sides. Afterall, if a fight were to break out between them, the alpha, who was not only older, but frankly also somewhat smaller than the opponent, would be likely to lose, and he knew that. However, he still did not want to give his pack out to the wolf that was now trying to steal his title. The last thing the old alpha managed to do, was to let out a loud, though short, howl, as if to warn the rest of the pack. However, the end of the howl sounded broken, because that was when the teeth of the dark wolf pierced though the fur and flesh of the other wolf, with immediate pressure being applied on his jaws as he bit down.

The load cracking noises of the neck breaking more and more, the more pressure that was being applied to the jaws of the dark wolf, as well as the cracking of the windpipe. Gabriel then threw the smaller wolf away a bit, before licking his own teeth clean from blood, listening to the older wolf, choking on his own blood before finally exhaling one last time before his whole body went limp. Gabriel remained there, standing and watching the corpse for a while, making sure that the old wolf indeed was dead, and not just trying to pull of a trick. He then snorted, before turning around to walk back towards the area of the main den. However, he was met by both scared, but also furious wolves, one of them attacking the large dark wolf, while the others immediately bolted to the borders of the territory to leave, in case the dark wolf would try to kill them.

Gabriel fought for only a short while with the other wolf, before getting to kill that one as well, before noticing the rest of the pack had run off. He remained in the area though, debating with himself where he might have went wrong. After all, according to himself, he had taken over the pack in the, traditional way. 'Fought' the old alpha and won, and yet everyone had fled, or tried to protect the legacy and heritage of the old alpha, though all now seemed to be lost, given that they all felt the need to leave the territory, rather than accepting the new, stronger wolf, as their alpha. Frankly a bit hurt about the situation, Gabriel remained within the territory, claiming it as his own, until he lost interest in it, given that no one came around to join his 'empire', thus letting it crumble before it was even fully established, he left the area, and instead started to roam again.

As yet another lone wolf, not caring about anyone of anything besides himself. Disrespecting other packs and their territories, challenging other renegades and frankly just doing what he wanted, just to give himself some sense of still being there, and still be alive. He didn't rely on anyone else, or want anyone else around for a long time, before finally retaining some sort of a stable mindset, calming himself down, though still continueing to just roam as a renegade through the Galeham.
